About

As a Personal Trainer who specialises in ensuring you feel confident before you move, I will be on hand to support you in the way you need it.


Studying in the biosciences at University whilst, simultaneously playing rugby alongside his fellow students lead James to realise that there was something fundamentally wrong with the world of fitness. Gyms were flooded with information that was being passed by word of mouth and very little of it was being fact checked for any substance. Couldn't any one of these little titbits of information be dangerous if gym-goers weren't careful? 


Realising that his passions lay outside of the petri-dish, James left university and qualified as a Personal Trainer, aiming to inspire and educate people in evidence-based practice rather than locker room hearsay. It was then he discovered that the majority of individuals did not feel confident when it came to manipulating their body or implementing an exercise plan, therefore, his focus on exercise confidence was born. 


In a world where we are constantly being told to exercise more or complete exercises to protect this, that or the other, James' clear goal is to be able to provide an understandable overview of the method behind the madness and give anyone an accessible understanding of movement.
